2011 Skoda Yeti | Review

Informations Specifications Modifications Image Review 2011 Skoda Yeti
Combining the best parts of a small hatchback and an off-roader, the Skoda Yeti is labelled as a 'crossover' in a similar vein as the Nissan Qashqai. It may not seem like an obvious mix but it works very well with the affordability and running costs of a normal hatch blended with the extra practicality and chunky styling of a 4x4.
The result is a real success and the Skoda Yeti is a great family car that's versatile and roomy. Inside there's plenty of space for four adults, with impressive legroom for those in the back, plus a large boot. The tall shape helps in terms of headroom and makes the cabin feel light and spacious. Thanks to a forgiving ride, it's incredibly comfortable too and means long journeys needn't be a chore.
Like many cars of this ilk, it's available with four-wheel drive, which is useful in slippery conditions or if you regularly tow a trailer. But what does surprise is how genuinely capable the Yeti is when tackling off-road terrain, even in situations where you might expect a traditional 4x4 to struggle.
It's just as good on the road with neatly responsive steering, good body control in bends and a positive gear change. As a result it's easy to drive and park in town, but also composed at motorway speeds and will happily cruise along with minimal fuss.
A carefully balanced running gear concept allows the driver to implement what the design implies: fun and dynamic to drive. The Yeti distinguishes itself with very agile handling coupled with high safety reserves. As well as the stylish exterior of the Yeti, the driver and passengers feel safe.
This impression is reinforced, among other things, by the turbo-charged and frugal engines. Two petrol engines and three diesel are on offer: The entry unit (front wheel drive), a petrol engine with four cylinders and 1.2 litre capacity, delivers 77 kW thanks to a power-providing turbo charger (105 PS). The fuel consumption stays within tight limits.
 Stayling
An impressive front end with a ribbed grille and friendly looking headlamps confidently demonstrate Yeti’s relationship with the ŠKODA family. Sturdy flanks and distinct wings give Yeti its robust and solid look on 17 inch wheels, without coming across as heavy.

It meets the demands for a cleanly styled body, a high seat position and versatile operating options with a design, which despite its robustness, exudes lightness rather than bulky shapes. The Yeti also meets the needs for environmental care, luggage space, safety and great road holding. The luggage compartment volume is flexible; up to 1760 litres is available by removing the rear seats. A carefully balanced running gear concept allows the driver to implement what the design implies: fun and dynamic to drive.
The Yeti is a clever compact SUV that is bound to create a stir in this segment. Excellent handling characteristics and high agility are features of all trims. The 4×4 variants are also characterised by outstanding off-road suitability and excellent traction. These, coupled with superb emission values and low fuel consumption meet the needs for a socially acceptable extension of the SUV class.

2011 Skoda Superb GreenLine

Informations Modifications Specifications Image Review 2011 Skoda Superb GreenLine
As a world premiere, Škoda Auto is going to present a facelifted version of the Octavia at this year’s Paris Motor Show (2-19 October, 2008).
Produced or assembled in altogether eight countries, the Octavia is Škoda’s bestseller. The rejuvenated version is now coming with a more emotionally powerful design. ‘The Octavia has always had a special position among Škoda vehicles. It is our most successful model, very popular worldwide. Now it has gone through a complete transformation that is apparent in the new interior and exterior, as well as the applied technology,’ said Dr. Eckhard Scholz, BOD Member responsible for technological development.
When looking from the front, the key enhancements include newly shaped, bolder headlamps, a more robust radiator grille and a one-piece bumper. The innovation of the rear part of the vehicle is mainly about new tail lamp covers and a dynamic bumper with integrated cat eyes.
The interior offers an innovated line of Škoda audio and navigation systems. The steering wheel, the dashboard (white-backlit), the air conditioning controls and the decorative strips on the doors and the central console have been redesigned. In addition, new upholstery fabrics are available across all equipment levels (Classic, Ambiente and Elegance).
Value in even the smallest of details: the interior
In spite of being almost identical in overall length to the previous generation Škoda Superb, the new Superb exceeds the already generous interior measurements of its predecessor in almost all aspects thanks to the transverse engine design. This begins in the front, where space has been gained by moving the gear position. The central tunnel has been designed in a much leaner form. And, in the rear, the knee space has been increased by 19 millimetres, affording the passengers unique travelling comfort. The new Škoda is 4,838 millimetres in length, 1,817 millimetres in width and has a height of 1,462 millimetres.
The interior, with its finely tuned mix of materials and excellent workmanship, satisfies the needs of even the most demanding customer. The dashboard with its wave-shaped design groups the operating elements into sensible individual functional units. All of the primary functions are concentrated around the steering wheel and quick access is guaranteed because of the logical location. Thanks to the unique design, erroneous operation is practically eliminated. In certain trim levels, the steering wheel includes multi-function buttons for the operation of the radio unit, MFA and a mobile phone. Chrome inlay in the centre of the newly designed, leather wrapped steering wheel reflects the clear V-shape form of the car's front.
This design cue is also reflected in the look of the central console. It includes the new Columbus navigation system with advanced, operator-friendly, touch screen technology and a 30 GB hard disk for rapid data access and also the dual-zone climate control system. In addition, there is the large capacity glovebox. Further storage space can be found to the left of the steering wheel, attractively designed door storage spaces, drink holders on the central tunnel and pockets on the rear of the front seats.
One new item is found when switching on the engine. The speedometer and tachometer dials move from their starting positions to the top of the dials and then return to zero, a quick and simple indication that they are functioning properly.
The foam cushioned dashboard surfaces, all friendly to the touch, are available in three different colours and three different versions of the decorative strips. Depending upon the model chosen, these ensure an exceptionally elegant, a stylishly sporting or a simply timeless ambience.

 ENGINE
FWD versions have enough traction, but AWD is optional with the torque-rich 170-horsepower diesel. On the 260-horse V-6 all-wheel drive is standard, as is a DSG transmission, but no one will buy the V-6 because a top-end car from a low-end brand is a route to massive depreciation. It's the diesels that will do the business in Europe, but I rather enjoyed the sweet, torquey gas-fueled 1.8 turbo. It's engine downsizing done well.
Driving Impression
Well proven and unique fittings afford the new Škoda Superb the same user-oriented character which is a feature of all Škoda automobiles. Thus, the solution for holding a wet umbrella has lost none of its functionality. The water resistant storage space is in the inner panel of the left rear door. A drainage system draws off the rainwater so that the umbrella undergoes "self-drying". When the door is closed, the umbrella storage space is invisible. The straight line design of the door does not break the line of the door panelling.
New round instruments with clear glass white numerals guarantee best legibility both during the day and at night. Diodes for the diffusion interior lighting, CatVision, are incorporated in the head liner. As opposed to their predecessors, these LEDs are now white, providing the car with an even more exclusive interior atmosphere. The clearly organised and easily recognisable gauges glow in a soft green light, the Škoda Auto brand colour. In addition, the colour green now has an additional important significance: Škoda takes environmental protection seriously in all areas. One way we protect the environment is by making nearly 95 percent of the new Škoda Superb recyclable at the end of its functional life. source:www.zulva.com,www.motortrend.com

Today, ŠKODA celebrated the start of the series production of its new small car, “Citigo”, in Bratislava. With the seventh model series, the Czech manufacturer expands its product portfolio in the small car segment. 2011 Skoda Design Brand

Information Modifications Specifications Image Review 2011 Skoda Design Brand

Czech automaker Skoda has launched a new direction for its brand at this year's Geneva Motor Show.

The Volkwagen-owned company says that it is gearing up to intensify its activity in Europe, China, India and Russia and is reportedly planning a new product offensive which will see new vehicles released every six months on average from next year.
The brand revamp was showcased at Geneva by the VisionD concept, a midsize vehicle aimed at the market-leading Ford Mondeo which Skoda says singles out some of the company's characteristic design elements.
Although further details were somewhat sketchy, this apparently means "above average" interior space and an integrated tailgate for the rear of the concept, which features a long wheelbase which builds on previous models such as the Octavia.

By unveiling a design concept called “VisionD“, Škoda is offering a glimpse into the future. The economic goals set by the carmaker require a new focus drawing on the inspiration of a tradition stretching back for more than 110 years. The use of modern stylistic elements and the latest technology is a logical step. The design concept fleshes out the contours of the growth strategy with clearly defined features, maximum care and attention to detail.
“VisionD“ singles out characteristic design elements of the Škoda brand and guides them towards the future. The long wheelbase and short overhangs are a prerequisite for successful automotive architecture as they both allow for above-average interior space and, coupled with the dynamic roof line, lend the car a high degree of visual majesty. The fluent integration of the tailgate underscores the entire car’s sophisticated practicality. The high everyday utility value and distinctive interior modular design are traditional brand values which are freshly interpreted in a more modern form here. The radiator grille with its unobtrusively shiny finish symbolizes the brand’s aesthetic blueprint, its fine slats resembling taut harp strings. source:http://www.zulva.com

this cars is very imposible for us.if you want use this cars you mush read this posh.
Skoda has just unveiled photos and a few details with the Mission L as the Czech autuomaker's new concept awaits its official premiere at the 2011 IAA Motorshow in Frankfurt tomorrow.
The Skoda Mission L is a close to production ready concept which previews a future compact model that will hit the European market, Russia and China in 2012. The car is expected to be delivered in India as well in late 2011, and the whole thing is part of the automaker's growth aspirations.
Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland, SKODA Board Chairman said that "This premiere kicks off SKODA's model offensive for the coming years," "This new compact model, along with other new products to follow, will enable us to accomplish our goal of increasing global annual sales to 1.5 million vehicles by 2018. We are going to present a new car approximately every six months over the next few years."
The new compact five-door vehicle will be launched in Europe, Russia and China. In line with the brand’s internationalisation principles, this compact ‘liftback’ will feature specific modifications in each of these regions. In addition, the Indian market will have its own version, a compact sedan. These steps are in line with the goals of ŠKODA’s 2018 growth strategy that was set last year in which the brand intends to increase its sales to 1.5 million vehicles by 2018. source:www.carsession.com
